Among the components of the S&P BSE Power index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (down 2.43%), ABB India Ltd (down 2.02%),Adani Green Energy Ltd (down 1.17%),Siemens Ltd (down 0.93%),Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (down 0.6%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were CG Power & Industrial Solutions Ltd (down 0.4%), and NTPC Ltd (down 0.21%).

On the other hand, JSW Energy Ltd (up 4.25%), NHPC Ltd (up 0.67%), and Tata Power Company Ltd (up 0.53%) moved up.

At 13:45 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 104.08 or 0.16% at 66126.16.

The Nifty 50 index was down 33.25 points or 0.17% at 19709.1.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 27.72 points or 0.07% at 37016.03.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 11.16 points or 0.1% at 11142.78.

On BSE,1712 shares were trading in green, 1824 were trading in red and 173 were unchanged.
